Who We Serve

Horizons Newark serves public school students from all of Newark’s five wards and the surrounding communities from Kindergarten - 8^th grade. Of those who participate:

We work in close partnership with Newark-based schools, communities, and organizations to provide students and families with resources and opportunities for success. Horizons students and families are engaged with us year-round and return each summer for our hallmark six-week program, plus special programming throughout the school year, creating a close-knit, supportive learning community.
